My 4th year at the Wicked Women's Makers Market 11/29/25

Image
I had such a great time at my fourth year of the Wicked Women Makers Market at the Marshfield Fairgrounds. This market is always a highlight—customers show up ready to shop and genuinely excited to support artists. I brought framed prints, loose prints, and cards, and the runaway favorites this year were my framed Christmas tree pieces—I sold out of them! My watercolor vase painting was another top seller, along with the ever-popular Mr. Melty. Already looking forward to next year!

Handmade for the Holidays @ the Gore Place 11/9/25

Image
The Gore Place ( link ) was such a beautiful venue for a holiday art market! I can’t believe I went to Bentley University and lived in Waltham for five years without ever visiting this historic estate. The grounds were stunning, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect — a picturesque, burnt-orange fall afternoon. The Handmade for the Holidays market was short but sweet, running just four hours, and the crowd started off strong. For this event, I introduced my new high-quality prints in 4x6 and 5x7 sizes. I’m planning to expand my print offerings moving forward, while still keeping framed prints in the mix as well.

Harvest Market w the Aht Department in Somerville 10/19/25

Image
As the weather gets colder, it’s officially time for indoor markets again! I’ve been a shopper at the Arts at the Armory events before, but this was my first time vending there. I was set up across from my friend Aly of Cowbird Studio, which was a definite plus. It was a slower day overall, but my medium-sized framed art prints were the top sellers. I also debuted two new paintings — Founding Fathers and View of the Village — both of which got great feedback. I even had some unexpected interest in an older sticker design featuring a castle-like house painting… maybe it’s time to bring that one back!

Last Somerville Flea of the Season - 10/5/25

Image
I opened and closed my tent for the final time in 2025 at The Somerville Flea. It was a great opportunity to test out some new display ideas, including fresh banners, curtains at the back of my booth, and table risers on all three tables — and I loved both additions! The risers are definitely here to stay; they really help bring the artwork closer to shoppers. The day turned out to be surprisingly hot, and the curtains (hung on a bungee cord) came in handy — I was able to slide them over to block the sun. Despite the heat, it ended up being my most successful market of the year. My bathroom painting was the standout favorite and easily my most popular piece of the day.

My time at in a little store (the Chartreuse Microbus Collective experience)

Image
I joined the Chartreuse Microbus Collective in April—a pop-up art and vintage market tucked behind Café Zing in Porter Square, Cambridge. With three shelves towards the back of the store, I set up shop and hoped shoppers would connect with my art. Every time I got a sale notification on my phone, it gave me the same little spark of joy I usually feel at live markets, knowing someone loved my work enough to take it home. As the months went by, I refined my display—adding height, decorations, and even a handmade felt sign to make my section feel more inviting. I discovered which pieces resonated most with shoppers, and a few designs quickly stood out as consistent bestsellers.  I wrapped up my run at the shop in September, and it was such a rewarding experience—part experiment, part adventure, and a great way to meet a new audience. You can still find my work stocked locally at The Brighton Emporium , 406 Western Ave, Brighton, MA.

Somerville Flea - 9/21/25

Image
Despite what you see in the photo, I actually turned my tables the other way. I’ve been using the Z-method at the Somerville Flea this summer, and I love how much more I can display! The weather was perfect, load-in was a breeze, and I even got to take my time setting up. I spent the day hanging out with my friend Suzy at the table, and I sold a bunch of art photos—one of my favorite things to make!

My first Somerville Flea - it was a scorcher 8/17/25

Image
It was a scorching summer day in Somerville, but the crowds showed up, at least at the start of the flea market. It’s always fun to recognize familiar vendors and say hello. Long Trail Studio and I shared walkie-talkies to stay in touch, since our tents were across the parking lot from each other. My friend Lisa helped with setup, which, by the way, was a breeze—got to pull my car right into my spot! My parents joined me for the day, which was a lovely bit of company. I debuted two new banners! Lots of people were excited about my work, with my watercolor flower vase, new tomato painting in a 2x3 frame, and Paddington being the big hits of the day!
