Last Somerville Flea of the Season - 10/5/25

I opened and closed my tent for the final time in 2025 at The Somerville Flea. It was a great opportunity to test out some new display ideas, including fresh banners, curtains at the back of my booth, and table risers on all three tables — and I loved both additions! The risers are definitely here to stay; they really help bring the artwork closer to shoppers.

The day turned out to be surprisingly hot, and the curtains (hung on a bungee cord) came in handy — I was able to slide them over to block the sun. Despite the heat, it ended up being my most successful market of the year. My bathroom painting was the standout favorite and easily my most popular piece of the day.
